About Me

My name is Yulong Liu (刘宇龙), I am interested in the connection of the virtual world and physical reality. The complexity of nature always inspired me to delve deeper and uncover its mysteries. I received my Ph.D. in July 2026, co-supervised by Prof. Yang CHAI at PolyU (HK) and Prof. Terry Tao YE at SUSTech (China). My research topics include e-textile devices, battery-less sensing and in-sensor computing.

2026-07: Successfully passed the Ph.D. defense and graduated.
2026-05: One co-first-author paper is selected as Best Paper Finalist at IEEE RFID Conference 2026.
2023-04: One co-first-author article extracted parasitic capacitance in conductive yarn [link] is published at Nature Communications and selected as an Editor's Highlight.
2022-07: Website is upgraded to the theme Bay.
2022-05: One co-first-author paper proposed an e-textile based keypad [link] is published at ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces.
